Bringing global dzogchen buddhist community together with a closed community app
This comprehensive app allowed invited users to join the community and get access to connecting and chatting with community members globally, finding and creating events, places, broadcast channels and groups, as well as joining global group meditation sessions and following a Buddhist calendar.
A full platform under the hood
Beneath the calm surface, Sangha is a complete community platform built end to end: authentication and invite-based access control, directories of members, places and groups, real-time chat with end-to-end encryption, file sharing, and an events and calendar system.
When encryption goes spiritual
As a special request, we added another layer to the end-to-end encryption we had in the app's chats. The community believes that as the messages travel from device to device, they get exposed to the world energetically, as they travel metaphorically through the air. Their belief in an opportunity to spread good energy through usage of the app led to us wrapping every message sent in chats in several types of mantras incorporated in code.
